It’s been a long time coming but we’re in the final scheduling stages of this year’s TownMusic chamber music season. The four concert series kicks off with cellist Joshua Roman (playing the complete Bach Cello Suites over two concerts with a dinner break, November 27); Brooklyn Rider (members of Yo Yo Ma’s Silk Road ensemble, returning to Town Hall with a program of Beethoven and Zorn January 29); Alarm Will Sound (acclaimed 18 piece ensemble in a concert of John Adams and Aphex Twin, April 26) and Joshua Roman and an All Cello Ensemble (performing works by Mason Bates, Astor Piazzolla, and Strauss, June TBA). The four concert subscription is just $80, and will be on sale on Wednesday, September 21 Brown Paper Tickets.
Also starting September 21, Town Hall members can purchase tickets for Joshua Roman’s Bach concert for just $29, also at Brown Paper tickets. Members will be asked for your membership number–feel free to e-mail or call us if you’ve lost your membership card, or if you want to join Town Hall (firstname.lastname@example.org, 206.652.4255)
Interest in this show is very high, and we expect tickets to sell quickly. Non-member single tickets for the 11/27 concert (and the rest of the series, too) go on sale on Monday, September 26.
Please feel free to contact us if we can answer any questions. This year promises the most extraordinary TownMusic lineup to date, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
