Official news of Cellist Joshua Roman

Roman performs first live video webcast following State Dept. Debut

On the heels of this week's appearance at the State Department, Joshua Roman performs his first-ever live video webcast tonight only, on the Interlochen website. He will be performing the Elgar Cello Concerto with the Interlochen Academy Orchestra and Octavio Mas-Arocas. Roman did not take the stage alone, however. His duo partner was none other than Yo-Yo Ma, who invited Roman to join him for the prestigious luncheon performance. They performed three selections: Dona Nobis Pacem, Summer in the High Grassland, and Barriere's duo for two cellos.

On Saturday, January 22, Roman's performance of the Elgar Cello Concerto with the Interlochen Academy Orchestra, led by Octavio Mas-Arocas, will be broadcast live on the internet.
